One of my resolutions this year (and there are quite a few) is to stop listening to the radio on my way to work. My last job had me commuting from Oxnard to the Valley. On average it was about 45 minutes each way. With all that time on the road, I got sick of listening to the same music over and over. Morning DJ’s had nothing but celebrity gossip to talk about and prank calling people in the mid-west. It got old really quick. I normally watched Crossfit videos on youtube but would struggle finding time in my day. That’s when I discovered podcasts. There are so many out there no matter what your interests are, health, sports, science and the list goes on.
Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy my music/karaoke car rides but I find that learning something, big or small to start my day puts me in a better mood. If you want any suggestions for exercise/health podcasts just let me know!
