“I can accept failure, but I can’t accept not trying.”
Words to think about when you are getting out of bed and wondering if you should hit the gym this morning.
Words to consider when you look at the board and see your weaknesses.
Words to think about when you load up the bar and decide what level you will be today.
Accept that it might not be a PR today but know that you still need to get in there.
Accept that the workout might be all of your weaknesses, accept you might be last but know that your weaknesses will never get stronger without work.
If you don’t show up you automatically lose, so even on your bad days, even on the days where you don’t really feel like it, get in there. Do the work, even without heart.
You can not know where your limits are without testing them, and you can not test them without accepting that failure will be a big part of it.
Accept failure today for the long term gains of tomorrow.
