Food is delicious! Food is nutritious… well most of it anyway. Why is food and nutrition such a hard thing to get right for some people? I am sure there is a number of reasons for this, but here is my ultimate battle with this question. I love food! I love eating it and cooking it, and I love when other people cook it for me! I love cooking it for other people! But here is the thing, sometimes foods that may not be “good for you” are often the most delicious! (quick side note : food cannot posses morality, ie “good” or “bad”, food has calories and nutrients, that’s it…) As I always say, if it’s “not good” for your body, then it is good for your soul! I believe that eating should be enjoyable. I know generally what things to eat to support my active lifestyle, and for the most part I stick to that. BUT damn it all if I don’t make myself some cheesecake once and awhile! 😉 What’s my advice? First figure out what your body needs, then find a way to make it enjoyable! The more you enjoy something, the more you will want to do it!
