Remember when you first started Crossfit? Each week you found out you could lift more, run faster, jump higher, and get your chin closer and closer to the bar for your first pull up? I do and it was freaking amazing. Congrats, now that you are a tenured Crossfit athlete, you know that when you push super hard, it’s gonna hurt…bad. That hurt used to happen all the time when you where new. Your body had no idea what was coming at them, you just gave it your all and kept going. That right there is was is missing. That push to be go as fast as you can, to beat that person next to you, and hang on to that bar to make that lift.
Go back to what it was like to being the new kid in class. Don’t think about how to pace it out, or “I’m not good at that so I’ll sandbag it”. Just 3,2,1 and go!
