So we are right smack in the middle of the Whole Life Challenge…and this is always the hardest time. The WOW factor of the challenge starts to wear off and staying on track becomes more and more difficult. To all my fellow WLC’ers, DON’T GIVE UP!!! We need to push through and stay on track. One reason why I really like the WLC is because it is not an all or nothing system. They understand balance in key and that you will have birthdays, parties, dates, vacations, and the list goes on and on. Having a mindset of “well I had a bad breakfast, might as well have a that double burger with fries for lunch…” keeps many from making the right choice. All you need to do is realize is that you can get back on track with your next meal.
I myself had to balance my eating during my weekend getaway with the family. I opted for healthy breakfasts, tried not to snack on bad food, and splurged on dinners. Didn’t get all my points but kept some. Now that vacations over, it’s back to business! WLC is almost done and I’m feeling really good. Let’s finish strong peeps!
