The coaches at CrossFit Oxnard have spent tens of thousands of dollars and hours on their training to be the best trainers, coaches, and mentors they can be. We all have our different styles and personalities, and that diversity truly is what makes the staff so powerful. We also realize the responsibility we have to you, and that this relationship goes both ways.
All this week, I am breaking down the perfect athlete from a coach’s perspective…CCPP.
This one is as simple as it sounds. G
et into the mindset that here at CrossFit Oxnard, failure is a GOOD thing. It means you tried, you went for it, and you learned a lesson. The next attempt can only get better. Have a great attitude, and your physical progress will be immediately right behind it.
Remember that we measure progress in CrossFit in years, not in weeks or even months. Lifting and performing at an above average level is awesome, but remember WHY we do this…to live life better across the board. It doesn’t stop at the edge of the box or at the last rep, your fitness encompasses every single aspect of your life.
