I’ve been doing CrossFit off and on now since 2008. In the early years, it was mostly off due to my work….and lack of dedication. Whether it’s your fitness level, your job, or your relationships…think about it; you OVER estimate what you can accomplish in a month, but you UNDER estimate what you think you can do in a year. Set your goals, and keep them attainable. If it was easy to attain, simply set bar an inch higher, add just 5 pounds more, and repeat.
Don’t try to jump that back squat 50# in a week, just get to 10# more, then reset, and get the next 10#. A war is won in multiple smaller battles, and your fitness comes in often surprisingly quick small doses.
