Another Whole Life Challenge and for some it’s their first time taking this journey to a better you nutritionally. And for others its an opportunity to real it back in and get back on track with making better decisions when it comes to nutrition. I often listen to Ben Bergeron’s podcast, Chasing Excellence and one of the things in one of his recent episodes that stuck with me was that the minute we wake up we have an opportunity to set the precedence of how our day goes by the decision to wake up when we say we are. I am guilty more often than not of setting an alarm and hitting snooze a few times, but making that decision sets the precedent that its ok to not always stay true to our commitments. Some of your are probably thinking how does a little extra sleep hurt anyone? Well it starts with hitting snooze, then going to work and indulging on the donuts someone brought to the office, then skipping out on the gym because of a long day at work. With this whole life challenge, set the precedence the minute you wake up! You will find that staying the course will provide the results you’re looking to achieve.
