How You Found CrossFit and/or Why You CrossFit:
I service the building right next to the gym and will often see people running while carrying objects. At first I thought it looked very hard but then I saw people from different shapes and sizes doing it and thought I should give it a shot…then walked up to the gym being curious, next thing I was enrolled and got hooked with all the cool people and great exercises!
Favorite Workout(s) and Why:
TABATA, because of its high intensity of consecutive sets and the resting time between each set.
Favorite Movement(s) and Why:
Turkish get up because it challenges your core.
Least Favorite Workout(s) and Why:
The CF Open 17.1 (dumbbell snatches and burpee box jump overs), probably because I could not walk for 4 days since I used my lower back once I start getting tired.
Least Favorite Movement(s) and Why:
Dumbbell snatches. I have a hard time not using my lower back once I start getting tired.
I don’t believe I have a have a superpower…. however, I love what I do for a living and think I’m good at that, because I’ve seen good results in my work due high effort, discipline, attitude and dedication just like I do in CrossFit!
Words of Advice For New CrossFitters:
You must try CrossFit! It is a fun way to work out, build resistance, mobility while facing your weaknesses and meeting a great motivating community.

I appreciate the guidance skills and awesomeness of every single instructor.
Shout out to Coaches Joe, Brenda, Shawn, Jeff, Michelle, former coaches, teammates and all the great folks from CF Oxnard! You guys are the stars that run the show!
